This item comes to us in 50 lb. bags. we process them by placing them in 7 layer MYLAR resealable bags. our packaging machine uses nitrogen to extend the shelve life of the product to 3 years plus (IF not opened). once opened you have 6-9 months.
These bags are not cheap but we prefer to use them because customers love the bags.
