A Big Very Nice and Rare, Old, Authentic Soviet Epoch USSR Propaganda Cast PLAQUE from Steam Locomotive with Soviet Union Coat of Arms ( SEAL ) with 16 Strips - Republics.
H=10" (25 cm). Weight 2.9 pounds (1.3 kg). Made in USSR right after WW2 of heavy metal alloy. Good condition – see photo for all details. It was taken from Loco after Soviet Union disintegration.

The serious collector knows that the Soviet Union was consisting of 16 republics (including Karelian-Finland Soviet Socialist Republic) during a short period of time from 1946 to 1956 (before 1946 there were 11 republics, after 1956 - 15 Republics).

I am selling this item from Ukraine now, the post is working a little slow, but as usual dependable. I was born in the USSR and I was 26 years old when Ukraine became independent in 1991 in accordance with Article 3 of Treaty on the Creation of the USSR (1922, December 30). I know very well the difference between living in a totalitarian country and living in a free one. These items are historical memorabilia, just to remember this time, so that totalitarian regime doesn't happen again in the future. I believe that Ukraine has the right to exist as a free and independent nation and I am participating in charity projects in Ukraine now.
