Signed oil on canvas by Alice Vasselon titled "Still LiIfe with Fruit and Flowers" from 1821. Alice was French painter renowned for her richly detailed floral still lifes and occasional genre scenes. Exhibited regularly at the Paris Salon in the 1870's and 1880's. She was the daughter of painter Edouard Vasselon and the sister of artist Marius Vasselon. The painting was original owned by famous playright, Richard Morris. Painting measures 12.5" by 17.5" and is framed 20" X 25".
