The design is based on  a stovetop oven patented in 1908. Stovetop ovens were very common all the way up until post WWII, because a large portion of middle America were still cooking on "blue flame" kerosene stoves. We made our version larger, more versatile and of heirloom quality for generations of reliable, heavy use.

THIS LISTING IS FOR SECOND QUALITY OVENS
They may have small dents, and they may have surface rust inside the oven. None of this will effect function.  Surface rust is more common than dents.  This batch of Pop-On-Tops was made in 2022, and due to sudden family health issues, sat in a container in South Florida for quite some time. The ovens were covered with plastic bubble wrap, so the humidity eventually rusted them.

As you can see from the pictures, a full retail box is included in this listing.

The dents are very minor, caused when a large pallet of Pop-On-Tops toppled off of a forklift on unloading.

Rust is actually you will expect on the inside of  your Pop-On-Top anyway. To make the inside walls and racks from stainless steel is not realistic if we want the product to be affordable. Galvanized steel is not safe for food. So your oven will rust a bit on first use anyway. This is explained in the instructions that come with your oven.

These are a great deal. Hundreds have sold on Amazon for $329.  We decided to just let these go on Ebay with little if any profit so that we can move on to the next production run. Our storage mistake will save you $100.

You will enjoy your Pop-On-Top, and you will use it much more than you think. Obviously since hurricane Helene a lot more people understand the importance of being able to cook reliably without the convenience of an electric grid. But the Pop-On-Top is much more. You will want to go camping, just because you can now make pizza.  And for the Holidays, you can make 4 pies on your stovetop or gas grill while the turkey and casseroles are in the oven.
