Installation precautions
- First, measure the resistance of the eight cylinders’ glow plugs, As long as their resistance values are close, there is no problem with the glow plugs. Or,There is a problem with the glow plug of this cylinder, it needs to be replaced.
- Then installation the glow plug control module, it is necessary to confirm whether the preheating plug is burnt out and short circuited to ground.
- Inspect the docking plugs on the vehicle for aging or oxidation. If there is a similar situation, it must be cleaned or replaced, otherwise poor contact can cause the plug to overheat, leading to melting and the possibility of self ignition such as burning the wiring harness.
- After completion, fix it with screws to avoid falling off.
