scarce mid 18th century engraved map with attractive hand color.

This rare late appearance issued c.1783, Lyon, possibly using an original 1750 plate although a close comparison to those could reveal differences or possibly entirely different plates (meaning this later imprint version was a pirate version so to speak).

Remains a nice looking example with a pleasing age patina. Any age flaws mostly minor and easy to overlook or forgive.

Original center fold as issued.
