This taillight converter is specifically designed for use with tow vehicles that have LED lights and it doesn't require an extra wire to the battery. Harness splices into existing wiring to adapts your tow vehicle's 3-wire, separate tail light system to the trailer's 2-wire combined system and provide a standard 4-way flat connector socket to plug in your trailer, all hardware necessary included for easier installation.
