This is a fine original early WWII M1 helmet with brass hardware and fixed chin strap. The helmet is with it early type Hawley fibre liner that has all rayon straps and fixed leather chin strap that is not removable. The liner is in excellent overall condition with no tears or undue wear to the cloth or major dents to the cardboard shape. The liner has the original owners first initial and last of his serial number written in it in two places and another number in sweatband, which looks 100% original to the liner for wear and use.
