NEW OLD STOCK PROTO USA MADE STRIKEABLE SCRAPER SET 1" AND 1-1/2".
FEATURES
Two-piece composite handle designed for comfort and secure grip
Chemically resistant to common shop fluids including brake fluid, antifreeze, and gasoline
Hardened and tempered steel for maximum durability, resistance, and longevity
Capped end directly contacts the shaft allowing user to strike with a hammer without damaging handle
These scrapers are no longer sold by Proto with strikeable handles, the current models have the DuraTek handles which while very comfortable are not durable enough to allow striking the butt end. These scrapers are now only available from Mac who sells the exact same model but with the Mac name . Both Proto and Mac have the same parent company. These are premium quality tools.
High alloy steel 3/8" shanks are heat treated their entire length and black oxide treated for added strength and durability.10-1/8" approximate overall length.
