MSV Racing continues to work on discontinued CR500 parts. We have now brought the “Spindle, Gearshift”, “Spring, Gearshift Return” and “Collar, Shifter” assembly to market for the 84-01 CR500
In usual MSV Racing fashion we made these better than OEM through superior materials, post treatments, and coating.
We used 4140 for greater toughness that was then normalized after welding.
The front half of the shift shaft has been zinc coated for anti-corrosion protection ensuring a long life.
Finally, we incorporated the modern, larger CRF450R shifter collar for smoother shifting.(included)
