The 2024 Piñon Harvest has begun! Can you taste them already?

Piñons are known as the royal gem of nuts. We all know them as one of the most nostalgic snacks of the South West. They are rare, tangy, sweet and so important to many cookie, pie and dessert recipes.

The piñon tree of New Mexico and Arizona produce piñon nuts every 4 years for only a short window of time! For the next 100 days, local harvesters will be gathering and selling, and we will be buying and delivering to you...

Sometimes people call these nuts Pinyons, Pignolias, Pinolis or Pinus edulis seeds. They are the high desert nut of Arizona and New Mexico, not the Afghan, Siberian or Pakistani pine nut, or the less flavorful pine nut from Utah or California.
