New! Herpa 613293 Iron Maiden (Air Atlanta Icelandic) "Ed Force One" Boeing 747-200, registration: TF-AAK - 1/250 scale Snap Fit model...   from the "The Book of Souls World Tour 2016" - a fan must-have!

As the pioneers of the British heavy metal scene, Iron Maiden are the most successful band in their genre. Founded in 1975, Iron Maiden are a global phenomenon, with appearances in 60 countries around the world. Their Book of Souls tour began in 2016, during which the band performed in front of more than 1.3 million fans at 117 concerts in 36 countries.

For their last three tours, the band and their crew traveled in specially designed planes. Named "Ed Force One" in reference to her mascot Eddie, each aircraft adorned the design of the respective album and the accompanying world tour. The pilot was none other than lead singer Bruce Dickinson himself, who also works as a pilot for charter airline Astraeus, from which the two Boeing 757s came from, which were used on the two tours in 2008 and 2011.
