    Disassembly and assembly of alternator:

    • On-board dismantling of generators

        1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal cable Before disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable, make a record of the information stored in the ECU and other components, such as the DTC (diagnostic trouble code), radio channel selected, seat position (with memory system), steering wheel position (with memory system), etc.

        2. Disconnect the generator power cord and connector

        3. Disassemble the generator. Loosen the generator penetration bolts or tensioner pulleys, then remove the drive belt. Remove the generator fixing bolts.

    • Alternator mounting

        1. Install the generator.

① Install the entire generator in reverse order of disassembly.

② Install the generator at the front end of the engine by penetrating bolts

           ③ Preliminary mounting bolts.

        2. Install the drive belt.

           ① Install the drive belt.

② Adjust the belt tension by moving the generator with something like the handle of a hammer

③ Tighten the mounting penetration bolts and bolts after ensuring the deflection of the drive belt.

        3. Connect the wiring harness.

① Generator cable and install the short-circuit-proof cover.
