CrystaLac Extreme Protection Polyurethane is a non-yellowing, environmentally safe top coat. It is super hard, clear, and easy to use, offering scratch, chemical, and water resistance for various surfaces. Perfect for bar-tops, floors, and more, it dries crystal clear and can be applied by brushing or spraying, providing added UV stability to preserve colors and prevent fading.

- Environment: For best results, apply in an environment above 68 degrees. Do not subject Extreme Protection Polyurethane to freezing temperatures.
- Prep:
- Prior to using this top coat, we recommend using CrystaLac Amber Toned Sanding Sealer to enrich the warm natural colors in the wood and minimize grain raising.
- If applying over anything else, make sure it is applied over thoroughly dried oil or water-based stains, shellac, lacquer, polyurethane or acrylic.
- If recoating over an old finish, scuff sand first and remove any surface contaminants such as dirt, waxes or polishes.
- Application: Apply 3-5 coats for a beautiful, protective finish. More coats may be added based on preference.
- Dry Time: Extreme Protection Polyurethane will be dry to the touch in 30 minutes to an hour.
- Recoat Time: Allow 2 to 4 hours before recoating.
- Do not use stearated sandpaper or tack cloths. Do not freeze. Do not apply below 60 degrees.
- Do not thin or clean with lacquer solvents or mineral spirits. Use soap and water for clean-up.
- Store at room temperature in a dry place, out of direct sunlight.
- Do not subject the product to freezing or hot temperatures.
- CrystaLac products have a shelf life of 5 years after opening.
- Use in an environment above 68ºF.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not allow children to use the product unsupervised.
- Do not ingest.
- If using a spray application method, wear proper eye and respiratory protection.
