Selling a NETGEAR PS101 Print Server. I was able to power it on, access it through the setup utility, and successfully ping it from a Windows XP virtual machine. It responds over Ethernet and appears to function on a basic network level.
However, I couldn’t get it to work the way I wanted — specifically, I couldn’t get it to work wirelessly through my router or print from my modern setup. I don’t know if it’s a compatibility issue or user error, and I don’t really have time to troubleshoot it further.
This is being sold as-is. If you’re tech-savvy or familiar with old print servers, maybe you’ll have better luck than I did. No returns if you can’t get it working — I couldn’t either, which is why I’m selling it.
INCLUDES POWER CORD! :)
also, if you buy this, I could only get anywhere with like a Windows XP virtual machine so like hopefully you have access to that kind of thing and there is a set up application that you can download if you go to like the Netgear website and find this product page you can still download the set up application, which is what I used. I tried getting it to work on my Debian laptop, but it wasn’t as consistent as with Windows XP.
