The Lamy Safari pen, which has garnered overwhelming support from writing instrument fans around the world, was released in 1980.
Its pioneering design, targeted at young people with its light resin material and innovative coloring, was met with great surprise at the time, but is now loved around the world as a timeless classic.

To commemorate the 44th anniversary of the release of the Lamy Safari pen in 2024, a fountain pen with a 14-karat gold nib has been released in a worldwide limited edition of 440 units.
The two-tone 14-karat gold nib shines against the matte body and shining gold clip in the 2024 limited color of field green.
