Once the stones are selected, they are sent directly to our manufacturing partners to be set into our original designs, before returning to Cheshire for final finishing and quality checks. This streamlined process allows us to offer beautiful, natural gemstones without the high markups. Natural gemstones carry their own symbolism and meaning whether celebrating a birthstone, a personal milestone, or a meaningful gift. From September's sapphire to other precious and semi-precious stones, our jewellery is designed to mark life's special moments with honesty and beauty.
All of our our jewellery is stamped to indicate the fineness of the material it is made from. Our silver jewellery under 7.78g is stamped with 925 for sterling silver. Our gold items under 1g are marked 375 for 9ct gold. Our sterling silver items over 7.78g and gold over 1g are sent to be independently verified for metal quality. This is referred to as being assayed. A metal mark, referred to as a hallmarked, is applied as part of the assay process to verify the metal grade. Ojewellery is registered with the Birmingham assay office for this process. The hallmark is made up of three parts:.
Part one: Our sponsors mark - the letters OJ in a hexagon.
Part two: The metal fineness grade - 925 for sterling silver or 375 for 9ct gold.
Part three: The Birmingham assay logo - an anchor.
Design: Many of our pieces are unique to Ojewellery . We design from our base in Cheshire UK. Founded by a design degree graduate, we work from initial paper sketches and 3D model our designs. Designs are produced with carefully selected production partners to our specification. Our design focus is on using natural gemstones within our pieces to add a little sparkle.
Branding: We have custom designed and branded jewellery boxes and gift bags. Our Ojewellery bespoke jewellery pieces can be identified by the distinct gemstone set ring emblem that is used on its own or as part of the logo on much of our jewellery. Our Ojewellery hallmarked pieces are stamped with the letters OJ within a hexagon at Birmingham assay
Packaging: All Ojewellery is supplied in new bespoke packaging with an emphasis on every item being a pleasure to receive. Our packaging is designed for postage and with convenience of receipt in mind our parcels will fit through the slimmest letter box so can be delivered even if you can't be in to receive them.

From a humble kitchen table start up, ongoing business growth means that our product range and the level of service we are able to offer continues to evolve. With the support of a fantastic dispatch team we are now providing reliable same day dispatch every working day of the year. We are open seven days a week and often dispatch on Saturday and Sunday.
All jewellery in the Ojewellery store is photographed and where possible video produced inhouse. Every product is weighed and dimensioned in preparation for being on our site, our aim is to provide as much information about our items as possible to ensure the item you receive is as you expect. Each product is hand inspected by a member of our team, carefully wrapped and secure stored ready for rapid dispatch.
We go to great efforts to ensure that every item you receive meets your expectations. Dedicated to providing exemplary customer service, you can rest assured that, from the online support team through to the pickers on the warehouse floor, your order will be handled with care and looked after every step of the way.
As a conscientious company we are aware of the moral and ethical issues that surround the manufacture of jewellery products using precious metals. We therefore make every effort to ensure that all our suppliers operate to similar standards and where practical are able to trace raw materials back to their origin.
Delivery
UK delivery is fast and free Postage cut off for same working day dispatch is shown at the top of the listing blow price against the sub-heading delivery. Items are shipped Royal Mail 24 unless specified Royal Mail Special Delivery next day guaranteed by 1pm (typically items over £300). Royal mail 24 items generally arrive next working day but may take longer depending on your location and how busy the sorting office are. This is a barcoded proof of dispatch and proof of delivery service. If you live in a communal building/ have delivery security issues, please select other courier 24 and your item will be sent royal mail 24 with signature required on delivery. If you require guaranteed next day delivery please select the special delivery upgrade option. Special Delivery items require a signature on delivery and will arrive next working day before 1pm with the exception of a few harder to reach locations. An up to date list of postcodes for these locations are available from royal mail.
Returns
Our standard returns policy is 60 days Changed you mind? Just carefully repackage and let us know before posting back so we can keep an eye out for your return and refund on receipt. Something not quite as you expected? Please use eBay messaging to make contact. You can find the contact us link at the top of any of our listings or within your purchase history when you select the purchased item. If you would like to discuss a replacement or exchange of an item please use the reason 'other' to make contact and we will make arrangements.
