Mutzig 1962 complete set/30 boxed UNUSED cork-era beer bottle caps France (Alsace)
Depicting the Coat of Arms of 30 towns in the Alsace region -- all different from the 1963 set.
These crowns were put on beer bottles for only three months in 1962.
If a customer could collect all 30 different caps and send them to the brewer, as a prize they would receive this presentation slipcase of the complete set of unused caps.
The
blason crowns in these boxes have no
corks inside, which shows that the crown factory was directed to set aside a
portion of the production so that the brewery could fill the boxes of sets.
