Blade is traditionally hand forged (6-stage process) and clay tempered 1095 high carbon steel with natural hamon created by clay tempering. This is not a display piece but a fully functional sword that can be used for cutting exercises. Each sword is serial numbered and includes certificate of authenticity. Please note that each serial number is unique and does not repeat. Wood display stand, case, and cloth bag are also included. The sword can be fully dismantled for cleaning or maintenance, and the maintenance kit is included. |
