The Basjoo banana has a very tropical look anywhere. This banana plant is the cold-hardiest of all bananas. It can withstand temperatures down to -3°F and with protective mulch it can withstand temperatures down to -20°F.

It has beautiful foliage and the flower is one of the most beautiful of bananas. It has long slender bright green leaves. This is a great plant for gardeners living in cold temperate areas.
