This adjustable rope halter (you can easily adjust the knots and needs to be adjusted on the noseband to properly fit your individual animal) is perfect for larger donkeys and mules that require strong and sturdy equipment. I personally make and use this rope halter for training my donkeys. The mule/donkey's halter needs to be down on the nose where they care about it. I make it out of a thick enough rope so the knots (when adjusted right as in the picture above, nose knots about two inches above the nostrils and sitting in the nostril chanels) can properly communicate to the donkey/mule so you can be soft with and create a responsive animal.
