This is an exceptionally clean Montblanc 144 fountain pen, 163 rollerball or 164 ballpoint cap body. Black with gold trim. This is for the Montblanc 144 fountain pen, 163 rollerball, 164 ballpoint only. Compare to your old cap body. The hole in the top should be about 5.20mm inside diameter, NOT a smaller 4.20mm inside diameter. If you need this for a 164 ballpoint the inside mechanism top will be red and white, NOT black. If unsure send me a photo of your 164 mechanism and I'll confirm if it is the correct cap body. Not for the larger LeGrand or small Mozart. This cap body is pre-owned and in very clean with just light micro-scratches. No damage, no wear to gold trim. Montblanc will charge you $150.00 to replace this part but you can do it yourself!
