TROUBLESHOOTING:
Before purchasing a remote, it is suggested to troubleshoot and determine if the remote is the problem. Here are some tips,
Make sure all the wires to the control box are connected (control box is located center back between the seat and the the backrest).- two wires that go to the back corners of the backrest (connects to lumbar and headrest, has a blue and gray connector)
- the two wires going to the 2-motors
- and the wire going to the hand held remote
- and the wire going to the power supply
Then check the power supply, make sure the green light is on and the wires are not cut or damaged.

*** The remote lights must all come on if there is power after pressing on a button. If the button lights do not come on, maybe there is a power issue.
If that is the case, check:
1) the remote connection to the control box connection is tight
2) the control box connection to the power supply TP2 is tight
3) the power supply TP2 is on (has a green light on top)
4) check for any cut or loose wires with the recliner control box
5) check for any cut wires from the TP2 power supply to the recliner control box.
Sometimes with rocking models (wooden base), the base sometimes sits on the TP2 power supply wires and causes wire problems.
