This plate measures “9 and does have a crack in the plate. The plate is solid and does not bend. The plate has been flattened for display by a previous owner. This locomotive was the first 4-8-4 delivered to the Milwaukee Road and the only Baldwin in the S-1 Class. Sold as is (see pictures).
