*Please note: On the INE-W970HD, This specific model Alpine radio is the only radio in the Alpine lineup that has an extended turn on time. Due to this initial startup offset, the radio requires being power cycled after initial startup for it to control the bypass properly. Instead of cycling the ignition twice, you can simply source off the radio (press and hold the middle button with the squares on it to source off the radio), then press the same button to turn it back on (and you will see the bypass is then active and bypassing the normally locked out features). This will allow the bypass to fire once the radio restarts (without the long startup). Please understand this is a limitation of the radio, and not the bypass operation.
