This classy, antique shaving mug is in beautiful condition. The term "quadruple plate" refers to a plating process where 4X the amount of silver is applied compared to standard plating, and this quadruple plate is bright and solid with no dents or damage beyond minor scratches, and a little tarnish.

Meriden Britannia Company was once the largest silverware company in the world. Its designs are in numerous museum collections including the Brooklyn Museum, New York, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.

The Kingsley natural bristle shaving brush has a two-tone plastic handle in a faceted shape that makes it easy to grip. It is in CLEAN and NEW condition -- "Made in Western Germany," so it probably dates to about the 1950s-60s. It doesn't even look like it's been handled much with not a hair out of place, and its yellow label is bright and clear.
