Merckens Melting Wafers

(For longer shelf life, store below 68 degrees. Freezer works but is not the best option due to condensation when removing)

These wafers are perfect for melting and using as a coating for fresh fruit, candy making or to dip baked goods like granola bars and cookies. They are also great for use in molding and dipping and can adapt to any confectionery need.  

*Melting guidelines: These wafers should be heated very slowly and ONLY enough so that all wafers are melted. Overheating will cause them to thicken. If that happens, NEVER ADD WATER! (High humidity in your room MAY also cause issues) You may add liquefied coconut oil, cocoa butter, Crisco or Paramount Crystals (Palm Kernal Oil & Soy Lecithin), which we sometimes have available in our ebay store. Please see instructions in that listing for recommended usage.

*Refunds are not accepted once these wafers are opened, so please melt cautiously

Free shipping includes this product double-bagged into 2-mil bags & double-sealed to ensure freshness & quality. It is then shipped the least expensive way. If you live in areas where temps. above 75 degrees are expected, please either wait for cooler temperatures or select the alternate shipping option at checkout for an additional $1.99. If you choose the free shipping option and we notice temps in your area are too high to ship, we may cancel your order.

Weather Policy: Please be aware of your local weather and all shipping options/policies in order to help prevent weather related damage to your item. Returns are only accepted if the product is unopened/unused. Once opened, you are accepting the product and may not return it. Be sure to examine your item to be sure it is what you were expecting, prior to opening it. Return shipping, as well as original shipping costs, are the responsibility of the buyer and are not refundable, unless it is our error. We list as many details as possible to ensure that you, as an online buyer, know exactly what to expect. We feel it is important to know exactly what you are getting when you are unable to see the actual product in front of you. We do our best to post photos, list dates up front and describe items in detail. If you ever have any questions at all, please ask up front before you commit to your purchase.

Quality issues with items that are sealed from the manufacturer, can be discussed with the manufacturer. For bulk items, you must let me know of any quality issues within 48 hours after tracking confirms delivery.

Lost/Stolen/Damaged Packages are our responsibility up until tracking shows they were delivered. We always recommend having your item(s) held for pickup from your local post office to avoid any damage or theft. If your item arrives damaged from being mistreated, you must notify us within 24 hours after tracking shows the item was delivered. You must also provide photos and keep all items/packaging until the issue is resolved.

Perishable items that melt (or have other weather-related damage) during shipping are NOT our responsibility if you do not follow both of our recommendations. (1) If high temperatures in your area are expected above 75 degrees, we recommend selecting the shipping option at checkout, for an additional charge, to have your item(s) shipped with added protection. (2) We also recommend having your package "held for pickup" from your local post office. Having it held for pickup is the only way you can control what happens to your package and prevents it from sitting in a hot/cold local delivery truck before delivery or anywhere outside after delivery for any amount of time. This policy is in place to ensure you receive your item(s) as intended. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

(FedEx may be used if cost is less than USPS - Please allow more shipping time than estimated for larger packages traveling further distances)

*Most items that weigh 1 to 9lbs will be shipped via USPS Padded Flat Rate Envelope, unless noted otherwise, or the total items purchased are too large to fit. In that case, your items will be shipped in a box with sufficient protection.

NOTE: Free Shipping typically includes the least expensive shipping method. You always have the option to pay more for added protection if you are ordering fragile items or weather sensitive products during certain times of the year.
