This item is for a Melling timing chain damper/tensioner for early GM LS-series V-8 engines; see part fitment guide. P/N BD417. This damper is stock replacement for some engines and can be used to replace the failure prone spring-style tensioner used on 2007-2013 engines. Feel free to message us with any fitment questions.
