MCM David Gil Very Early Vintage TRI-COLOR CERAMIC PITCHER

Item: no item number, 9" tall, 3.5" wide (add 2" for handle)

          "signed" by primitive hand/arm logo on bottom

Color: bands of white, tawny brown, and turquoise, glazed 

Condition: no chips or cracks, non-visible discolor on bottom

This piece is from very early in Gil's career, early-1950s. It was made prior to his "Bennington Potters" branding.  Specs and firing marks are intentional, not flaws or damage. Has feel of a trendy, modern piece. Also can be used as an eye-catching vase.
