McDonnell Douglas RF-4 Phantom II Fuselage Belly Camera Window Door, RF-4C RF-4B
This is a camera window/door of an RF-4C or RF-4B Phantom II. This is for the third camera station on the bottom of the aircraft just forward of the cockpit. This was called the high altitude station and usually held a KA-55A or KA-91 high altitude panoramic camera on a stabilized mount. The camera window measures about 24" at the widest by about 15 1/2". It is a real piece of thick glass and it weighs about 21 Lbs. This window/door is in pretty good surplus condition. I did see one tiny chip in the glass that is not big enough to show up in a photo. The glass looks good and clear but there are light scratches and/or marks. Payment must be received within 7 days of auction close or high bidder loses all right to property.
