What is the difference between a type approved CAT and a standard CAT?
A type approved catalytic converter contains more of the precious metals used to break down the harmful gases emitted by a vehicle making them less detrimental to the environment.
What happens if I do not fit a type approved CAT to my vehicle?
The R103 type approval is a new European regulation and is enforceable by law. When placing an order with Direct Supplies you will be asked for your vehicle registration number, this is to confirm the item purchased will conform with this regulation and avoid any legal action to ourselves and you as the customer.
