■The legendary overdrive MAXON ST9, which was released in the 1980s and has been handed down as a vintage effector even now that production has been completed. The ST9Pro+ (Super Tube) is a reborn version of the original ST9 with a new circuit.

■The boost control in the mid-range reproduces a powerful and heavy sound like a stack of stacked amps. In addition, the drive control allows you to create a wide range of settings such as booster settings and blues sounds to hard rock sounds.

Equipped with a new 2-pair diode clip and low-frequency boost circuit, it is now possible to select stronger distortion and low-frequency boost.

■The internal operating voltage can be selected from 9V and stabilized 18V. The new circuit boosts to 18V with an internal DC/DC converter only when 18V is selected. When 9V is selected, the internal DC/DC converter does not operate at all, and operates with the voltage supplied directly from the battery or AC adapter. When using batteries, the internal DC/DC converter does not operate, so the battery lasts longer.

■ By setting the internal operating voltage to 18V, sufficient dynamic headroom is ensured, unintentionally generated distortion is greatly suppressed, and stable high quality sound is always obtained.

■We adopted TBS (True Bypass Switching) by 4PDT mechanical switch. When bypassed, it will be in a complete bypass state that does not pass through any electronic circuits. There is no deterioration in sound quality because it does not pass through electronic switching circuits even during effects. This TBS is greatly supported by many musicians and guitarists.
