Explore New Worlds of Reverb

It’s time to put on your adventure hats and discover something entirely new! You’ll have three different algorithms to formulate your sound: Mod, Shimmer, and Vintage. These choices offer a variety of reverbs to suit different genres and playing styles. Next, customize your tone with the three knobs: Mix, M, and Feedback. The Traveler even features MIDI capability so you can control parameters remotely. From subtle reverb textures to full-blown sonic landscapes, The Traveler can whisk you off to realms previously unheard.

Set the controls for the unknown

The creative possibilities are endless with the Matthews Effects The Traveler. This reverb pedal achieves its dynamic sound through a series of streamlined controls that can do much more under the surface. Start by selecting your desired reverb algorithm: Mod, Shimmer, or Vintage. Then you can augment that sound and tweak it through the Mix, M, and Feedback knobs. The Mix knob will blend your wet signal into your sound; the M knob will control a different, unique feature on each algorithm; the Feedback knob will dial in the length of the reverb. Not to mention, The Traveler has MIDI capabilities, allowing you to control presets, algorithms, and features remotely! Also, you can trigger a Hold function by holding the Bypass/Hold switch. This will instantly skyrocket the feedback control to the max setting, then return it to the previous setting. All that’s left to do is get out there and explore — The Traveler is waiting for your venturous spirit.
