Up for sale is an officially licensed Factory-X Marvel Comics Sword of the Daywalker replica from the Blade and Blade II movies, manufactured in 2000 by United Cutlery in Taiwan. As you can see from the labels, this is the Factory X version (Item # FX19991) with the sharpened edges. This magnificent piece was designed by Factory-X directly from the actual studio sword supplied by prop maker Tony Swatton.
Factory-X supplied some of these very swords for the actual filming of the sequel! Every detail has been expertly duplicated to please even the most serious collector. The sword features full tang construction, a polished 420 stainless steel blade with a sharpened edge, a powder-coated zinc alloy handle, and measures over 35 inches in length.
This sword has previously been displayed, so it may have minor imperfections, such as scratches and scuffs. The wooden sword display stand is in good condition with no serious scratches or scuffs, but it could use a good wipedown to clean the dust that has collected over time. It was also displayed (just like in the movie) as a plain black stand without the metal BLADE logo plate. Since then, the logo plate has been misplaced and is therefore not included in the sale.
