Martin 1982 D-18

Description

The D-28 and D-18 are best-selling models that Martin calls bread butter. The 14-fret joint D-18, which was born in 1934, has retained its basic design and has undergone various changes to its specifications, but it has reigned as a famous acoustic guitar to this day. This model was made in 1982. During this period, the music scene was dominated by electric guitars and hard rock was at its peak, so Martin was forced to reduce its production scale. However, since the number of models produced was small, they are said to have been made by experienced craftsmen using good materials, and the sound is good, so models from this period are very popular today. The pickguard of this model has been replaced with a tortoiseshell pattern, and since many original pickguards from this period peel off over time, it is believed to have been replaced at that time. Although there are additional strap pins on the heel and wear due to age, the neck is in very good condition, and with a low string height, you can enjoy the refreshing tone that is characteristic of mahogany. Dry stroke sound, simple yet tasteful single note sound. The response is excellent, and the versatility makes it an attractive all-rounder. It's rare to get a quality D-18 sound at this price! Please consider it! The Martin logo plate is missing, but the original black hard case is included.
