Own an instant George McGovern button
collection! I acquired all of these items in 1972
and 1973. Most are in excellent condition, with a
few in very good or good condition (but please
look at all photos to determine condition for
yourself). Also included are: (1) a McGovern-
Eagleton pen knife, (2) a McGovern tie tack still
on its cardboard backing thanking the wearer
for his/her support and with a printed McGovern
signature, and (3) a Nixon shrinking penny. These
three items appear in photos at the end.

I had a tremendous amount of fun collecting
these items as a young teenager, and I now hope
you’ll enjoy them as well. (The person who
encouraged me to collect them was my friend,
the late Jordan Wright, author of Campaigning
for President. Jordan went on to amass arguably
the largest and most important political
campaign memorabilia collection ever, and me…
well, not so much. Jordan started it all back in
1972 collecting presidential and local NY
campaign buttons, which he and I mounted on
3x5 cards!)
