This is a large Eskimo basket, about 13" in diameter and 9" tall. It is coiled and of the type made in Hooper Bay Alaska. It has no lid and the colorful design is faded on the outside. It is still quite visible on the inside. I have seen these basket restored using watercolors to accent the designs in the faded areas. This one is worthy of restoring. See pics. Email questions.
