The square Jasper jar, I was told, was a temple jar of Blanc De Chine porcelain.
That has been modernized by a crisp chinoiserie fretwork pattern in bolder colors.
Details include a matching covered lid and dauntless graphic decoration in an all over pattern.

I believe it is made of porcelain.

The jar measures 8 ½” tall x 6 ½” wide x 6 ½” deep.
This was a family piece and is in excellent condition.
There are no chips, cracks or crazing.
