Large Grande Sonnerie 3 weight Vienna regulator wall clock @ 1890. This wonderful, impressive clock is presented in very good original condition having come out of an estate recently, where it was maintained and in regular use. This clock is ready to hang on the wall and enjoy! The large, extra fancy carved walnut and walnut veneered case measures 56" tall x 20" wide x 10" deep. The case is solid and good, with no damage or missing pieces, and excellent color and finish. Excellent carving, particularly to the bottom bracket. The 7 1/4" diameter porcelain dial is good, but does have some scattered age expected hairlines, and one old repair at the numeral 11. Great original hands, great original weights, and excellent original fancy matching weight pulleys. The 8 day movement strikes full Grande Sonnerie on the quarter hours on two gong rods.
