Offered here is a WWII era military pistol lanyard for a Colt M1911 45acp. The leather holding the hook is clearly stamped “HICKOK 1943.”
Pre-owned. No obvious defects or signs of use and wear other than maybe some rub marks from being in storage for so long. The cord has stiffened with age. Appears to be in serviceable condition.
From the estate of our Uncle Paul, born in 1927, who collected all kinds of things in Denver, Colorado, from the mid-1950s until his untimely death in the mid-1980s.
