The MX241 was designed for those riders with foot issues such as bunions, deformation, or extremely narrow or wide feet. The upper has separated panels that allow for fine tuning the pressure and fit, while also conforming around any sensitive or painful spots.
I kept this model, in a different size - they are HEAVENLY!! Totally worth the money. Who knew cleats could be actually comfortable, my feet always ached with other cleats.
