Powder Coating is AMAZING stuff. Very durable, silky-smooth and just the right slipperiness you need between the metal surfaces. 

DISCLAIMER:
FYI: Bare Steel can corrode. Do you have a plan? We suggest WD-40 and 0000 Steel Wool on occasion. Good idea?


ABOUT THIS KIT: 
1. Makes your ladder STAND UPRIGHT when not in use.
2. Slides up/back (and right/left if you order a wider bar).
3. Easily lifts off the bar! Or check out our "C" & "CL" brackets.

Our Brackets are heavy-duty 1/4 x 3/4 strap steel (load tested to over 500lb) and we use special pipe that DOES NOT show the threads! 

This design is so simple, functional and affordable. 



BRACKET TYPE: pick which type, (J,L,C or CL).

What type of brackets do you need? See last photo.They ALL make the ladder stand up. --->

You want Js if the ladder extends ABOVE the loft (when fully pulled out)
You want Ls if the ladder is BELOW the loft (when fully pulled out)
You want either C or CL (same as above only NOT easily removable).

How to figure Bracket Length of travel (default, if you say nothing, is 12 inches):
1. Pull your ladder out to the preferred angle, and (make a mark on the loft edge if the ladder DOES NOT extend past the loft for "L" Type brackets or) make a mark on the back of the ladder...
2. Then hold your ladder straight up and measure the difference.
3. We will add three inches to that measurement to be SAFE! ;o)

(WARNING! WIDTH INCLUDES 5 inches of fittings! EG a 2ft bar has 19" of bar) 


Comes with:
All the lags you need and a lag-driver.
1/4" thick felt pads for the bottom of your ladder.

FELT IS BETTER! NO CASTERS TO SCRATCH YOUR HARDWOOD FLOOR!

Bar and fittings come fully assembled. All you need is a drill/driver and a ladder!
