The L.O. Crocker Vintage Train Conductor Ticket Punch, patented in 1869, is a unique collectible tool that was once used by train conductors to punch tickets. This piece of railroadiana was manufactured in the United States and features a special patent date stamp from Sept.21, 1869, adding to its historical value. The vintage design and functionality of this ticket punch make it a desirable item for collectors interested in transportation memorabilia.

The punch appears to be a check mark, and metal shows some age, but punch works.
L.O. Crocker, E. Braintree. Mass.

The stamp pad stamp says "Virginia Truckee Transit Co." the corners are torn, and it is taped on. But when stamped that is what it would say.

The Virginia & Truckee Railroad was originally built in the 19th century to serve the Comstock Lode mining communities of northwestern Nevada, primarily transporting gold and silver ore.
Today, it operates as a scenic railroad, offering tours from Virginia City to historic Gold Hill and also extended routes from Carson City.
