KUTSUWA is a general stationery company mainly manufacturing products for school children since 1910.
At the same time, they have been also introducing very unique and innovative stationeries for adults throughout their history and have been receiving number of design awards.

This is a extremely durable and light-weight pencil (pen) case originally developed for school children in 70's and has been a must and standard at school since then.
Clarino is selected for outer material, and every pieces are carefully constructed and crafted by hand in Japan so that it can withstand hard abuse of children for a long time.

Clarino is the synthetic leather developed by Kuraray of Japan in 1964, and it is know to be extremely durable, light weight and washable.
Actually, Clarino is synonymous with synthetic leather in Japan and has been used in various products from bags, shoes, belts etc.

It is very simple and functional.
The front lid is equipped with magnet for easy open/close, and inside container has "double-deck" construction for achieving large capacity.
Maximum of 6 to 10 pencils can be stored in addition to earser, rulers, compass, etc. 

Because of the durabilily, many of adults are re-evaluating and starting to use this pen case now.
