Newly made, formulated for use with composite BMX mag wheels, such as Skyway Tuff Wheels, or ACS mags.


Kool Stop has re-made their famous brake pad! Originally made in the late 70's, Kool Stop has re-made these pads using original molds with "Kool Stop" logo. Manufactured in 2016.

  • Using original molds, Kool Stop has captured the "old-school" BMX vibe once again using this classic design from the late 70's. Same as the original "Skyway Tuff Pads", but with the "Kool Stop" logo instead of the Skyway logo.
  • Made to work excellent for use on BMX mag wheels. All types, including Skyway Tuff Wheels (including Graphite models) and all other composite bicycle wheels.
  • This brake pad comes in different colors to match your wheels.
  • This pad compound works great on all mag wheels, as well as alloy or steel spoke wheels, too!
  • IMPORTANT** These pads are made for "old-school" caliper brakes, such as MX-1000's, Bulldogs, Pitbull, and similar brakes. These MAY work on certain V-brakes as well. The threaded post on these pads are not as tall as most V-brake pads, so we do not guarantee that these will fit all V-brakes.
