Our ¾” x 12” knife sharpening sanding belts are built for the Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpener - Ken Onion Edition. Red Label manufactures these belts to be industrial grade - combining a precision cut with a long lifespan. The belts are manufactured with metalworking material designed for knife sharpening and grinding. They include a flexible, J-weight polyester backing and a premium bi-directional tape joint that allows the belts to run in either direction. We’re a family-owned American manufacturer and all of our belts are assembled here in the USA.
Belt Compatibility For Sharpening Tools
It’s important to note that not every knife sharpening tool uses the same sized sanding belts. These specific sharpening belts are only compatible with the Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpener - Ken Onion Edition (WSKTS-KO).
The original Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpener (WSKTS) utilizes ½ x 12 inch sanding belts while the Work Sharp Ken Onion Blade Grinder Attachment utilizes 1 x 18 inch sanding belts. Red Label also sells both ½” x 12” sharpening belts and 1” x 18” sharpening belts if you use either of these tools. If you have the base model Ken Onion Edition tool, then these ¾” x 12” belts are for you.
¾” X 12” Knife Sharpening Sanding Belt Pack Options
Red Label’s ¾ x 12 inch knife sharpening sanding belts come in a variety of different grit options. You can buy a 10 pack of belts in a single grit, or buy a pack with an assortment of different grits. Our assortment pack gives you the ability to buy more grits in smaller quantities at an affordable price. You can find our pack options below:
- Available Grits: 80 (ceramic), 120, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 2000, 5000, 7000
- Multi Grit Assortment: 80 (ceramic), 320, 800, 5000 Grit
- 800, 5000 Grit Assortment: 5ea of 800, 5000 Grit
The 80 grit belts are manufactured with a premium ceramic grain while grits 120 and up are manufactured with a premium aluminum oxide grain.

The 1 inch by 42 inch belts came quickly. The fine grit belt works perfectly to sharpen the expensive kitchen knives (German and French) and the Japanese knives. I will be ordering more in the future.

The Rhynowet sandpaper, in my first use, seems to be way better than standard AO sheets. And it's a full package - these should last me for a while!
