The Indian was to acknowledge his American Indian Heritage. This was the first edition of 6 for the Chitwood lucky coin.This is the rarestest edition and was sold from 1945-49. The Chitwood Show ran from 1945 to 1998 a 53 year history showing at the leading Fairs and Speedways across the US. In the early days of stunt shows insurance was not available to the stuntmen and these coins were sold to help cover their hospital bills. They quickly became a collectible and the rest is history.
