Personal Note:

I obtained a few stone from the Kyoto Natural Stone Association, including this one. I’ve enjoyed using it for my own kitchen knives, and it consistently provides a smooth sharpening experience with an excellent Kasumi  finish. Also its great size, 205 * 81 size was very enjoyable to use.

The Surface of this stone has been professionally "De-Streaked" by the original kyoto store, meaning that coarser streaks had been removed, and have some mini holes left behind where those streak were before. This allowed for the no scratch final finish.

Please feel free to reach out for additional photos or details. Thanks for looking!
