Phantom Flame is a new variety for us, and I am so grateful to one of my nursery friends who shared some scion wood with me so we could produce some!  Wonderful creamy leaves with deep red or purple leaves emerge in spring and definitely have that "Wow!!" factor when you first see it. Spring leaves transition to of cream and red  turn to summer leaves of green and red in fall.  

Please note that this maple may be trimmed back to facilitate shipping, which will in turn promote branching and new growth
