Title / Subject: part of the road from Dublin to Trim, and from Dublin to Ennis. N.B. printed on both sides.

Size: the printed area on each side measures approximately 212mm x 115mm, margins beyond. 

Description: A copper-plate engraved original antique road map. From the first edition of Taylor and Skinner's 'Maps of the Roads of Ireland', it is printed on both sides, it includes details of topography, notable residences and place names. The route passes through several settlements including:

Plate 91 - Dublin, Leixlip, Maynooth, Trim

Plate 92 - Loughrea, Ennis

Provenance: 'Taylor and Skinner's Maps of the Roads of Ireland, Surveyed 1777.  Published for the Authors as the Act directs 14th Novr 1778'.  N.B. First edition.

Condition: Very good condition. Light age toning. Very faint crease at top right corner (pl 91). Small spot to the right side of pl. 91 / left side of pl. 92. Please study all the images carefully to fully appreciate the condition.
